The company "Neftgazkipavtomatika" is the official distributor of the company "PPG Industries". ˜PPG Protective & Marine Coatings˜ is a recognized world leader in the production of high-quality anti-corrosion and fire protection coatings for steel structures, supplying worldwide. Close cooperation with the manufacturers of these materials allows us to offer our customers a range of materials that increase the fire resistance of metal structures from 30 to 120 minutes. And cooperation with manufacturers of works and designers allows us to offer you a comprehensive solution to problems associated with increasing the fire resistance of any object. All offered materials have certificates of the Republic of Uzbekistan for compliance with fire safety requirements.
We recommend the following fire protection intumescent coatings.
Pitt-Char XP® Intumescent Epoxy Coating
Epoxy intumescent coating Pitt-Char XP provides excellent fire and anticorrosive protection, unique elasticity and resistance to mechanical stress, withstands very low temperatures, meets international fire safety standards and fire safety standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
When exposed to fire, the unique chemical structure of the coating transforms it into a kind of ceramic, insulating carbon layer, which provides thermal protection to the substrate, even under conditions of exposure to hydrocarbon flame and jet stream.
Because Pitt-Char XP is an epoxy, its tough, durable coating reliably protects structural elements.
Application area
Pitt-Char XP is resistant to solvents, acids, alkalis, salts, and abrasives, making it an ideal choice for harsh environments in both arctic and tropical climates. For applications above 80 ° C, consult your PPG Protective & Marine Coatings representative.
Pitt-Char coatings have been successful in protecting substrates in refineries, chemical plants, offshore platforms and various other "high risk" industrial sites around the world.
Application Information:
Surface Preparation - The surface must be clean, dry, free from damage and any contamination, including salt deposits. Sand welds and remove metal beads. It is recommended to sandblast the surface of the steel structure to at least Sa 2 1/2 according to ISO 8501-1. Small areas are processed manually.
Priming is done with a suitable Amercoat 71, Amercoat 385PA, Amerlock or Amercoat 68 Series. The use of bituminous, vinyl, and chlorinated rubber soils is not recommended.
Application of the coating can be carried out using airless spray equipment with heating and a separate supply of components or - equipment for spraying mastics, the air temperature should be: + 10 ° C - + 50 ° C, and the surface temperature: + 10 ° C - + 60 ° C To prevent condensation during the application, surface temperature should be at least 3 ° C above dew point For optimum performance, apply Pitt-Char XP using a heated multi-component airless spray system. Each component is usually heated to 50-60 ° C and mixed in a mixing block located 3-5 m from the gun. For complete equipment information, including size and performance, plus minimum compressed air and energy requirements, see our detailed contractor guide. Please contact your PPG Protective & Marine Coatings representative for complete application information for Pitt-Char XP.
Steelguard Thin Layer 561 Intumescent Coating
Thin-layer intumescent coating Steelguard 561 based on organic solvent, dries quickly, which reduces the time to start-up of the facility, provides fire protection of structural steel within 60 minutes, applied in the factory or in the field on-site with a dry film thickness of up to 1.0 mm in one layer, it is used for internal and external surfaces for corrosivity categories C1, C2, C3 and C4. For indoor use with a dry atmosphere category C1 (ISO 12944), no insulation coating is required.
Application area
Intumescent flame retardant coating for the protection of structural steel for indoor and outdoor use. It is used to protect (double) T-columns, beams, and hollow structures. Fast drying material suitable for factory application by hand airless spray. Allows for fast application work, which increases the production of coated steel structures. The composition can also be applied in the field, on-site. Under normal conditions, Steelguard 561 is weatherproof for up to 12 months, making it easier to transport, store and install structural elements during construction. During this period, running/standing water, hot humid atmospheres and immersion should be avoided.
