Description
At the heart of the Sierra is the two-stage oil-free screw block. It is he who makes the Sierra the most reliable car in its class. The screw block is almost entirely made of stainless steel. The surface of the rotors is protected by a special UltraCoat tungsten carbide coating.
High quality rotor coating
In dry, oil-free screw compressors, the rotors are not sealed by an oil film, but by submicron gaps between the screws. At the same time, the smallest dust particles that penetrate through the most advanced filter act as a real abrasive, wearing out the surface of the rotors, increasing clearances and leading to a decrease in compressor performance by 10% for several years. As a result of years of research, Ingersoll-Rand chose the ultra-hard UltraCoat coating, which wears out twice as long as Teflon coating, which allows the compressor to maintain performance for 10 years.
Ingersoll-Rand Package
The Sierra package is designed to maximize customer satisfaction. Working temperature up to +46 ° С avoids possible stops in summer heat or with uncleaned refrigerators. Compressor pipes are made of stainless steel, refrigerators are made of aluminum, which allows you to get the most clean compressed air.
Flexibility
Sierra is available in both air and water cooled versions. Both versions are designed for best performance. In addition, taking into account possible needs, there are special options: models for low ambient temperatures, versions for use outside the building, and others.
